Who makes Flopwear snoods?
Every snood is cut and packaged by Charlie’s human and sewn in small batches with help from an experienced local seamstress in Albury, NSW. It’s a true team effort handmade from start to finish.

Fun Fact our seamstress is actually our local schools Lollypop lady and lives only 200m walk from Flopwear HQ!

Why should my dog wear a snood?
A snood helps keep long ears out of food and water bowls, so no more soggy snacks or messy mealtimes. They’re also great for walks — protecting ears from burrs, prickles, mud, and all the debris they love to collect. Plus, they keep those gorgeous ears dry on wet days and dewy early mornings. Practical and stylish 🐾

Before selecting a size, we recommend measuring your pup’s head to ensure the best fit.

Use a soft tape measure and measure around the widest part of your dog’s head, just in front of the ears.

3️⃣ When in doubt, size up
Puppies grow quickly and coats can become fuller as they mature.

✨ Tip: A snood should feel *snug enough to keep the ears in place, but not tight or restrictive.

Medium(Most Popular)

• Best suited for: American & English Cocker Spaniels, larger Cavaliers, and similar-sized breeds

• Head circumference: approx. 38cm

• Charlie wears a Medium — he has a classic English Cocker Spaniel build with a full show-style coat.

Slim Fit Medium(New!)

• Designed for pups who need a Medium length but have slightly smaller heads.

• Same snood size as a Medium, but with a shorter elastic for a snugger fit.

• Head circumference: approx. 36cm (snugger elastic)

• Perfect for smaller-headed English Cockers, American Cockers, and similar breeds.

Small

• Best suited for: Puppies or younger <1 English Cockers, Miniature Poodles, King Charles Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Dachshunds, and most puppies

• Head circumference: approx. 34cm

🐾 Puppy Tip:
Most Cocker Spaniel puppies start in Small, which typically fits through the first year depending on head growth and coat fullness. Many dogs then move into a Slim Fit Medium or Medium as adults.

Supervision Disclaimer

Should my dog be supervised while wearing a snood?
Yes — we always recommend supervising your dog while they are wearing a snood.
Although snoods are designed for comfort and safety during meals, walks, grooming, and downtime, every dog is different. Supervision ensures they remain safe, especially young puppies or dogs new to wearing snoods.

🧼 Care & Durability

How do I care for my snood?
Handwash gently in cold water and lay flat to dry. Avoid tumble drying or ironing to keep the shape and materials happy. Our waterproof snoods can be wiped clean with a damp cloth between washes and flat layed to dry.

How do I put the snood on?
Just scrunch it up at both ends and gently slip it over your pup’s head it’s easy as that! 🐶✨

Will the snood stay on my dog?
Yes when properly fit the snood should stay in place during normal activity. If you’re unsure about sizing or fit, feel free to reach out with your pup’s measurements and we’ll guide you.

Are your snoods waterproof?

Our Adventure snoods feature a water-resistant lining, designed to help protect your dog’s ears from splashes, damp conditions, and everyday outdoor adventures.

They are not fully waterproof, so prolonged exposure to heavy rain or full water submersion (such as swimming or soaking) may allow moisture through over time.

We design our snoods to balance comfort, breathability, and function so they’re something your pup will happily wear while still offering practical protection 🤍

We usually pack and post your order within 2–4 business days. You’ll receive tracking once it’s on its way. Each item is handmade and packed with care, so we appreciate your patience!

✨ At this time, we are no longer offering custom-sized snoods.
Our standard sizing has been carefully designed to suit floppy-eared breeds especially English Cocker Spaniels — to ensure the best fit, comfort, and function.

Because custom sizing often requires additional adjustments, fittings, and remake(s), we’re focusing on our core range to maintain quality, consistency, and quick turnaround times for everyone.

If your dog is not a Cocker Spaniel or you’re unsure about sizing, please reach out — we’re always happy to help guide you to the closest and most suitable fit from our existing sizes but take into consideration that they may require adjustments on your end to fit smaller breeds.

Will you restock sold-out snoods or collections?
Not always! Our snoods are made in small batches using hand-picked fabrics that aren’t mass produced which means once a fabric is gone, it might be gone for good.

If you see something you love, we recommend snapping it up before it disappears!

Every Flopwear snood is lovingly handmade in small batches right here in Albury, NSW. From carefully cutting each piece of fabric to sewing on the woven label, a lot of time, detail and care goes into every single item no mass production here!
